Burning Sky describes itself as ‘a brewer’s brewery’, and the brewer in charge loves hop-forward pales and Belgian beers. That should give you an idea of the output from this innovative brewery operating out of a quirky village farmhouse in the middle of the South Downs countryside.
The brewery got off to a flying start, producing its first batch of beer in the autumn of 2013 and being named the 4th Best New Brewery in the World 2014 by RateBeer. Burning Sky was the first UK craft brewery to install oak foudres and perfect barrel ageing of its Saisons, but also makes robust Porters, hoppy IPAs and Imperial Stouts.
